Few unknown armed miscreants abducted owner of Eco Valley Resort, BB named Mongting Marma (40) from Sualok area under BB Z. BB Region along with other SFs and int orgs are working to rescue the abducted pers.

A gp of unknown miscreants abducted a Bengali from JouthaKhamar area of RG Z under GM Region. However, indl was released after taking 30,000/- tk as ransom. On receipt of info, 1x C type ptl from RG ZHQ rushed to the spot, but miscreants fled away.

KNA miscreants fired towards Tamlopara TOB of 16 EB under BB Region. In retaliation, camp members also fired back and ptls from 19 km, 24 km TOB and Baklaipara Army camp were sent as rft. Fire exch cont till 1640 hrs. Fol the incident, Snk Abu Hanifa (25 yrs) of 1 BIR received bullet injury at his rt lower chest which exited through the lt side of the chest. Later, Snk Abu Hanifa has been evac at CMH Ctg by heli at 1815 hrs, but doc declared him brought in dead at 1850 hrs.
